ABOUT LUCAS
It is not enough to be just a designer. It is not enough to be just a photographer. It is not enough to be only a musician, an artist, a writer, a brother, or a friend. I have to do more. That is what More!Lucas is all about. I have to follow my heart to be happy but also work my ass off to achieve seemingly impossible goals. For the last 15 years, I have been exploring a wide range of disciplines in the field of digital art, sound, video, and design as well as the marketing of said fields. My journey is an ongoing evolution that strengthens me as a visual communicator with every step. Every morning when I wake up, I remind myself to be fearless yet responsible with my voice, and to tell my story and share information with anyone who is interested. I hope that I will inspire the other people in my life to do the same.
Most of my motivation stems from the desire to help others with scarce resources. An absolute fascination with leveraging technology to create unique art fuels my soul. My goal is always to have artistic freedom while balancing a technical skill set that translates into real opportunities within the industry. There will always be a new challenge around every corner, and with each challenge, a solution is not far away.
It helps to be an autodidact. When I was about 13, I started to realize that I did not want to flip burgers for a living and I needed to step up my game, so I built my first PC (Elenor1) and started using Photoshop. With the second revision of my PC (Elenor2), I began using sound editing software, composing electronic music, and DJ-ing at underground parties. In the years that followed, the internet became more and more accessible, effectively increasing my information sources exponentially. In 2011 I completed post production on my first music video, edited exclusively on veteran workstation, and old friend, Elenor8.
Today, I have quit my TV and have become a full-time digital artist and creative consultant. I spend most of my time supporting the aspirations of the talented people I call my family & friends, and I have never been happier.
